“Farmers as Guardians of Water Resources” Workshop

This workshop will feature a dynamic mix of young farmers, researchers, and policy experts, each bringing a unique perspective to the future of water management in agriculture.

From the field:
Martina Dal Grande, Hanna Jarosławska and a young farmer from Belgium will share real-life stories of how they manage water on their farms and the challenges they face.

From policy and research:
Gregorio Dávila Díaz (DG AGRI) will open the discussion on knowledge gaps.
Mary Ryan (Teagasc) will dive into the role of governance and advisory services.
Maria Calderó Pascual (BETA Technological Center / AQUAGRI-KNOW) will lead a foresight talk on water needs in 2050.
Matteo Pagliarani, CEJA Vice President, will bring in the voice of young farmers, reacting to the foresight discussion and highlighting key priorities from the ground up.
Expect engaging polls, discussions with the audience, and fresh insights to support future strategies and platform contributions.
