This operational group introduced satellite-driven innovations to optimise fertilisation and irrigation, upgrading SatAgro’s backend engine and frontend interface.

Following preparatory field experiments and extensive data acquisition, algorithms were developed and refined to assess crop nitrogen demand, soil-water capacity and deficits.

These prototypes were integrated into new Precision Irrigation and Precision Fertilisation modules—complete with a detailed Fertilisation Plan and an Innovation Profitability tool—and validated against expanded field datasets.

As a result, farmers gained advanced tools for crop monitoring, yield forecasting and loss estimation, while water and chemical inputs were reduced, minimising soil degradation and enhancing environmental sustainability.
