The AQUAGRI-KNOW Ambassadors Programme brings together key regional actors to share knowledge and promote efficient water management practices in agriculture.
Within the programme, ambassadors will act as mentors in their territories, working closely with farmers, researchers, businesses, NGOs, and policymakers to scale up best practices and encourage the adoption of innovative water management solutions. With the support of the AQUAGRI-KNOW consortium and regional stakeholders, they will help diagnose water-related challenges, identify opportunities, and facilitate collaboration to drive rural innovation.
To further amplify these efforts, each ambassador will receive a tailor-made upscaling initiative, known as The Ambassador’s Suitcase. This customised toolkit will help ambassadors implement impactful actions in their regions ensuring the widespread adoption of EIP-AGRI OGs innovations.
Through guidelines, online mentoring, in-person training, and collaborative events, AQUAGRI-KNOW aims to accelerate the adoption of smart water management strategies, strengthening the resilience of European agriculture.
